Accelerated Leadership Development

The Accelerated Development Programme . . .
fast tracking tomorrow’s Leaders

The constantly changing nature and structure of organisations increasingly presents them with the challenge of developing tomorrow’s leaders and managers in new, rapid and innovative ways. Much is expected of people identified for leadership, even at the early stages of their careers, and they are expected to function competently and often without the appropriate training and skills being put in place.

The Programme

The solution lies in enhancing the skills of tomorrow’s managers and leaders in a way that brings about sustained high performance. The Accelerated Development Programme sets out to achieve this.
Briefly, it is a programme in two parts, consisting of various modules listed below. The programme is aimed at new and established managers of whom much is expected in a short time.

The programme involves:

One group action learning session of one full morning per month at which one of the modules will be dealt with meaningfully so that the participants have practical knowledge that they can implement; and
One hour’s one on one coaching per month for each participant with their personal coach. The personal coach will, among other things:

  • Enhance the participant’s development and learning during the programme;
  • Assist the participant to set meaningful business and personal goals;
  • Guide the participant towards the achievement of those goals;
  • Assist the participant to apply the knowledge and skills acquired into their personal and business lives in a sustainable manner.
  • Each participant’s progress is tracked on a personal achievement scorecard.
  • The consequence of this process is demonstrable and sustainable change

  • The ability to set more effective goals and achieve them
